Laser-assisted lipolysis describes a “melting” of fat with laser energy. In particular, smaller areas like the neck, double chin, upper arm, tight inner and outer side, hips, knee region and male breasts can be treated with this technique. The duration of the outpatient treatment depends on the area to be treated, with the chin area for example taking about 30 to 45 minutes.
With this minimally invasive method, vessels and tissue are rarely damaged, and less hematoma is therefore built up compared to conventional liposuction.
